Tourist Info

There is no local Tourist Information Centre near Lake Keepit but you may be able to find some local attractions info at the caravan park office.

Lake Keepit is probably best known for water sports like water skiing and kayaking. Fishing is another popular pass time. Silver Perch, Yellow Belly and Murray Cod are commonly caught in the dam. There is also a sailing club and a Gliding Club nearby.

If you feel like a spot of exercise there are plenty of spots to walk around the park. There is a nice and easy walk (2kms round trip) to the Sailing Club and back which has some great views.

For those who’d prefer a more leisurely activity, take a drive down to the weir travelling through a beautiful avenue of massive gum trees.
